On the 5th and 6th of June 2024, we had a fruitful INTUE Annual Meeting via teleconference, attended by 60 time-use epidemiologists from 20 countries.
The meeting was chaired by INTUE President, Professor Zeljko Pedisic, and had the following agenda:

The research presentations included:
1) Kim Meredith-Jones – Validation of actigraphy sleep metrics in children aged 8 to 16 years: considerations for device type, placement and algorithms
2) Iris Willems – Test–retest reliability and internal consistency of a newly developed questionnaire to assess explanatory variables of 24-h movement behaviors in adults
3) Si-Tong Chen – Trends in adherence to the 24-h movement guidelines among US adolescents from 2011 to 2019: Evidence from repeated cross-sectional cycles of the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System
4) Youngwon Kim and Qiaoxin Shi – Replacing device-measured sedentary time with physical activity is associated with lower risk of coronary heart disease regardless of genetic risk
5) Sean Healy – It’s about time to exercise: development of the Exercise Participation Explained in Relation to Time (EXPERT) model
